This is one of my absolute favorite flat breads. It mixes savory, sweet ,and spicy all in one bite! It's also quite healthy with the toppings of arugula and apples smothered in the hot honey sauce. I always buy the garlic naan from Aldi, but regular flatbread works just fine from any local grocery store. This only takes about 20 minutes to make and it's great for those Friday night pizza nights. Give this a try, you wont be disappointed!
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made naan flatbread
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1 cup of arugula
- 2 slices prosciutto, cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp hot honey
- Olive oil for brushing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F
2. Brush the naan flatbread with olive oil on both sides and place it on a baking sheet.
3. Arrange the thinly sliced apples on top of the naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Place the slices of brie cheese on top of the apples, evenly distributing them.
5. Sprinkle the prosciutto pieces over the brie cheese.
6. Season the flatbread with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Drizzle the hot honey over the flatbread.
8. Place the flatbread in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the naan are golden brown.
9. Once done, remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
10. In the meantime, toss the arugula with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
11. Once the flatbread has cooled slightly, top it with the arugula salad.
12. Cut the flatbread into slices and serve immediately.
