Easy bratwurst and hash brown casserole recipe - Perfect for Breakfast or Dinner!

This recipe has everything I want in a dish - it's quick, versatile, and bursting with flavor. The best part is that you can even have it for breakfast by simply adding a couple of eggs on top. The blend of bold flavors from paprika, garlic, and onion truly shine through and perfectly complement the deliciousness of potatoes. Who can resist the irresistible combination of these ingredients? I certainly can't! This recipe is definitely a go-to for me whenever I want a hearty and satisfying meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients:

- 1 package of frozen hash browns

- 4 queso bratwurst sausages or whatever flavor you prefer

- 1 bunch of green onions

- 1 teaspoon of paprika

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 1 can of corn, drained

- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

- 1/2 cup of mayo

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Take the frozen hash browns out of the package and let them thaw while you prepare the other ingredients.

3. In a medium-sized skillet, cook the brats over medium-high heat until they are browned and cooked through. Remove them from the skillet and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing them into bite-sized pieces.

4. In the same skillet, add the chopped green onions, paprika, and minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the onions become slightly translucent and the garlic becomes fragrant.

5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, sliced brats, cooked green onions and garlic, and drained canned corn. Mix everything together until well combined.

6. In a separate small bowl, mix together the shredded cheese and mayo until it forms a smooth and creamy mixture.

7. Add the cheese and mayo mixture to the hash brown mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.

8. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly, then add more shredded cheese to the top.

9. Bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are crispy.

10. Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

11. Garnish with additional sliced green onions and a sprinkle of paprika.
